ABOUT RTI SCHOLARSHIPS
- This scholarship is meant for students from FTE (Freedom Through Education) schools
- Students pursuing undergraduate courses across India
- Preferrence will be given to pursuants in engineering, healthcare, and allied fields.

For every ₹1 lakh you deploy, you take one student all the way from first-year enrolment to a job-ready degree, and you get a tax deduction of 50% of it. Your actual cost of converting one future engineer or doctor: ₹50,000. This is a higher-leverage philanthropic instrument.

FAQ
How do I know my ₹25,000 reaches a real student?
The money is wired directly from the RTI Scholarships corpus to the college. You receive the scholar’s college receipt as proof. Annual academic reports follow for four years.
What if my scholar drops out?
10 waitlisted scholars back up every intake. Your capital is reassigned, you will get notified, and your 4-year commitment continues with a replacement.
Is this tax-deductible?
Yes. 50% of your donation is deductible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. RTI is also FCRA-registered, so NRI donors can contribute legally.
Can I choose which scholar I fund?
For the Legacy tier (₹12.5L+) yes, you can also meet and mentor them. For other tiers, scholars are assigned based on merit and need, and you receive their full profile.
Why is preference given to Engineering and Health Sciences?
Can my company fund this as CSR?
