For 47 years, Round Table 7 and Ladies Circle 19 have transformed lives through their Limb Donation Project. Conducted in partnership with the Karnataka Marwari Youth Federation (KMYF), the initiative has evolved from a small group of volunteers into a legacy of compassion and collaboration.

This year’s drive coincided with the 1500th meeting of Round Table 7. “This project has been the soul of Round Table 7 and Ladies Circle 19,” said Abhishek Ahuja, Chairman (2025–26). “Each limb represents a second chance at life.” Expanding its mission, the initiative now includes Hand Donation, distributing artificial hands for the first time. Beyond prosthetics, its outreach continues through Project HEAL and Freedom Through Education.

From Aspiration to Achievement
In 2006, a young boy named Basavaraj arrived in Bengaluru with his parents, who worked in a brick factory. Struggling with poverty, they found hope in BMRT44 School, which offered free education and meals. For Basavaraj, who had left his small village behind, the school became more than a classroom – it became a home that nurtured his dreams.

Nearly two decades later, Basavaraj’s journey has come full circle. Once a student, he now leads the construction of the school’s new building – a powerful symbol of resilience, gratitude, and transformation. What began over four decades ago as a modest effort to help someone walk again has grown into one of Bengaluru’s longest-running service movements.

A platform to give back meaningfully, while building skills.
