Round Table I ndia’s Project Suryajyoti initiative promises to bring Solar energy to schools all over India and bring light to villages that are disconnected from the power grid, there by contributing to India ‘s energy sufficiency in key social development areas with much needed clean energy.
With this initiative, as an organization of savvy, capable and dynamic young minds, RTI is leading in working on today’s major issues like, need for clean energy, elimination of energy deprivation of rural schools, energizing rural India, national energy sufficiency and global warming.
Round Table India Trust has allocated a corpus fund of Rs. 50 Lakhs for the Solar system installation projects under Project Suryajyoti taken up by its chapters across India.
RTI has signed an MoU with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) that recognizes RTI as Indian Government’s recognized partner in various initiatives of MNRE. This has given the necessary recognition and governmental support to RTI in taking this key service initiative to much needed areas.
